Good morning dinos! This sim is just fun in Windlight!
A great display of Madcow's builds.

In talking with Pathfinder Linden yesterday ,
mention was made of one of the newest Lindens, Cogsworth Linden.
On seeing his avatar (and being totally distracted by it), I just knew
he would need to meet our own Madcow Cosmos!
Sure enough, they hit it off. Kriss Lehmann and I watch the meetup.

Kriss Lehmann wears one of Madcow's newest dragon avatars in this last picture, while Cogsworth shows one of his.

Holidays in the Second Life® world at Blackwater Gallery

In the mood for the holidays, I began getting the gallery ready. Maybe we can apply for the great Fourth Annual in the Second Life® world Winter Holiday Celebration I actually got cold walking around in this virtual snow!
You can sit in this Santa's lap for pictures! He's sitting in the Yoho extension of the gallery. There's even a flying Santa there, and he covers both sims.

I stayed out in the snow till dark.

Blackwater Gallery Artist Madcow Cosmos in AV Wars!

Although it didn't happen in the Blackwater Gallery, Madcow is one of our artists, and I promote their works whenever I can :) I had gone to a Rezzable sim sandbox to show one of GM Kurosawa's pieces to Bettina Tizzy, to aquaint her with his art. We met up with Sabine Stonebender and TXGorilla Falcone, and began discussing upcoming art museums and in the Second Life® world art, and in the Second Life® world history. Sabine and TXGorilla had many stories, and pictures to show, and then began
the Great Avatar show of the week! The avatars got bigger and bigger. I sent an IM to Madcow Cosmos, to come show his big avatars to the group. By this time we were joined by Betlog Hax and Douglas Story. The avatar war had begun! What else to do but send an IM to Flea Bussy, who was more than happy to oblige! LOL
Just last night, Madcow had joined Eshi Otawara and I at her Open Art Critique location. He showed us a few avatars there too! The man is prolific! This is the first thing Madcow Cosmos ever built, this hat:

I love his work, but prims are prims, and his works are so detailed that it is hard to show them all in one region. There are still several at Blackwater Gallery. But I've moved and put out even more of the dino and dragon pieces at one of the Rezzable sims, kindly offered to me by RightasRain Rimbaud. Hurry and see them, I'm not sure how long we can borrow the region!

Our Land Manager AFK forever from the Second Life® world!

James Gill, Blackwater Gallery's land manager and builder of the Blackwater Gallery teleport signs, is leaving the Second Life® world. He is selling all his own lands; this includes the wonderful New Orleans build (NOLA) , the ice castle, and the Sabre train station. along with many other builds around the Second Life® world. James ran many trains along the SLRR tracks.
In fact here I am in one of Madcow Cosmos' wonderful av's riding atop one of James' trains!

This is a great loss to the gallery, and to us. Anna Tsiolkovsky sits atop his memorial marker in Heaton.

James was one of the most active and outspoken members of the Second Life® world's Arbor Project, founded by Xerses Goff. Xerses will continue on as land manager for some of my other lands. James Gill was another casualty of the ad farm invasions in the Second Life® world. The poor guy was just trying to work in another window, but his avatar got kicked around on a box! And by Blackwater associates Madison Rutledge and Anna Tsiolkovsky, no less!

Oh, and another big no-no!! Gallery owners don't leave your art set for anyone to move!
Or you may end up with this! although Starax (in his alt) said it may be
an improvement! LOL Luckily it was easily fixed.
